THE
ORDERING PROCESS
- Initial
consultation.
The first step is to arrange for one of our designers to come
to your home, take a survey and listen to your ideas, needs and
wishes. We will also give you the benefit of our experience and
will be able to suggest some ideas and solutions to solve some
of the problems that always seem to arise! From this we will come
up with a set of plans and price. The plans will include a floor
plan and elevations and are produced free and at no obligation.
However, these plans will remain the property of Stylehouse Kitchens
until the time that you place your order. If you wish to purchase
the plans at this point they will be offered to you and you will
be free to do as you wish with them.
- Finalizing
and placing your order.
If you like
the design and price we can then start working on more detailed
plans and will be able to give you an all inclusive costing. This
will be an all inclusive price and will include delivery and installation.
When you are happy with the final price and plans we will request
a deposit of 50% when you place the order. This will then allow
us to order everything we need to build your kitchen. It is around
this time that we will need you to pick your colours, benchtop
material, handles etc. If you are ordering appliances through
us we will also ask for payment in full for those.
- Installation.
During the time it takes to make your kitchen we will organize
any tradesmen you may need to prepare the room. This could include
builders, plumbers, decorators and electricians. We have built
up very good relationships with these trades over the years and
would be happy to recommend some of our more trusted contacts
to you. We are also more than happy to work with your workmen
if you would prefer. Prior to install we will ask you for a further
30% on your final inspection to release the kitchen to your home.
The installation normally takes a day or so for smaller jobs and
a couple of days for larger jobs. If you are having stone benchtops
it is probable we will have to have templates made once the kitchen
is installed. This can mean there is a 10-14 day wait between
your cabinets being installed and the benchtops arriving. We will
provide you with temporary tops in this time and plumb in your
sink so you can be operational in this time.
- Completion
When the project has been finished to your approval we will present
you with our final bill. We may also ask permission to have a
photo shoot done of your new kitchen to add to our portfolio!

WHO
ARE WE?
Stylehouse Kitchens
is owned by Simon Dodds, who formed the company in 1999, after emigrating
to New Zealand from the UK. He brought vast experience with him, having
been self-employed for years in London . He comes from a boat building
background, which enables him to think outside the square when designing
kitchens, particularly in situations where the room is awkward and challenging!
We employ a small team of highly skilled and versatile tradesmen who will
work together to design and build your unique Kitchen.

1. How long does it take for
me to get my kitchen? From the time you place your order we will try and
have your new job totally finished within 6 weeks.
2. Do you just make kitchens?
No! We are skilled cabinet makers and will gladly give you a price for
any cabinetry or furniture around the home. Fitted furniture is a specialty.
3. Can you manage my project?
We have a team of reliable and trusted tradesmen that work with us. Plumbers,
Electricians, Builders, Tilers etc., and we are happy to coordinate them
for you to make your job run smoothly for you.
4. Is your price all inclusive?
Of course! From the design and construction to the Installation, delivery
and even the appliances, everything is given to you as an up front price.
